How to Order
We accept orders through the secure shopping cart on our website. If you prefer, you can print your shopping cart page and fax it to us at (913) 596-9929, or call in your order at the same number. Our office hours are 10am-8pm M-R, 10am-5pm F-Sa Central Time. We are closed on Sunday.
What is a pre-order? A pre-order is an order for an item that has been announced but not yet released by the manufacturer. Payment is not due on a pre-order until product arrives in the United States. Timewalker Toys & Collectibles offers discounts of up to 10% off most pre-orders. Our pre-order program is designed to be mutually beneficial: it helps you save money and ensures that an item(s) will be reserved for you upon release, and it allows us to better control our inventory and maintain our competitive pricing. We encourage you to take advantage of our pre-order system.
How do I place a pre-order? To pre-order an item, simply add it to your shopping cart or call us at (913) 596-9929. Pre-order pricing is clearly marked on the item. Orders that combine in stock items with preorders may be subject to extra shipping charges. Pre-orders will be billed and shipped using the information you provided at the time the pre-order was placed. NO PRE-ORDER WILL BE ACCEPTED without providing proper payment information (note: credit cards that expire before an expected arrival date will not be accepted).
How do I pay for a pre-order? Generally, Credit cards are charged when the item arrives in stock. In the case of oversize items or large inbound shipments, we may begin billing 5-10 days prior to product arrival at our facility; in other words, product may be billed on imminent arrival. If you pay via Paypal, you will be notified through Paypal's message center that your payment is due. Paypal payments must be complete within three (3) days of notification. Money Orders are due no later than seven (7) business days after you are contacted for payment.
Remember, pre-order products may take several months to arrive. Please budget for their arrival. Failure to pay in a timely manner may result in the loss of your pre-order discount, and/or the cancellation of your order.
A pre-order is a real order, not a wish list! We understand occasional pre-order cancellations, but habitual cancellations may result in a request to secure future pre-orders at the time of placement with a deposit.
Checking on pre-orders. Updated release dates and shipping notices are available on the product record, on the homepage and in our email newsletters. Also, feel free to email us or call at any time for an update.
Shipping pre-orders. If you order a combination of in-stock and pre-order items, the in-stock items will ship immediately and the pre-orders will be processed as above. By special request you may combine in-stock items with preordered items for future shipment. Such requests will be handled on a case by case basis. If approved, the in-stock items will be billed immediately and held for consolidation until the preordered items arrive. Orders that combine in-stock and pre-order items may incur extra shipping charges.
Backorder/ Out of Stock
In the event that we are out of an item when an order is placed, we will notify you by email that the item is out of stock. You may place the item on backorder if it is still available to us or cancel the order.
Backorders are treated as pre-orders, above, as far as payment and shipping are concerned.
Methods of Payment
Credit Cards: We will accept credit card payments through our secure shopping cart, by fax, or over the phone. We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
Please provide correct and complete information when placing your credit card order. Incomplete or incorrect information may delay shipment of your order. In the event that incorrect credit card information is given, we will notify you and hold the order for one (1) week. If corrected information is not received during that time, the order may be cancelled.
The billing address you provide MUST match the address on file with your credit card company. A mismatch when we run the card may result in shipping delays or cancellation of your order.
For our protection as a merchant and that of our customers, we require the CVC number for credit card orders. The CVC number is found only on the card itself, reducing incidence of fraud. The CVC number is the last three digits on the back of a Visa or MasterCard, and is printed on the front of American Express cards. Your order will not be processed if the CVC number is not entered.
Checks/ Money Orders: To pay by check or money order, select Check or Money Order in the shopping cart, and send the check or money order, payable to "Timewalker Toys & Collectibles", to:

Your payment must be received within seven (7) business days of your order, or your order may be cancelled. Orders paid by check may be held for up to ten (10) business days pending bank approval. There will be a $25.00 service charge on all returned checks.
Paypal: We are a registered merchant with Paypal, and accept payments through that service. Only your Paypal email address will be required to process your order. We will promptly email you a payment request through Paypal. You will then need to go to Paypal to complete the transaction. This is not automatic - we bill out manually. Merchandise will be shipped after payment is received. Payment authorizations not received after five (5) business days may result in cancellation of your order.
Paypal Surcharge
In order to offset the increasing costs of offering Paypal service to our customers, we will apply a 2.5% surcharge to all orders paid with Paypal (Ebay auctions excluded). Paypal’s merchant fees are typically double the fees our regular merchant provider charges for a credit card transaction. Also, we have had increasing problems with Paypal payment requests being ignored, as a passive means of canceling pre-orders. Implementing this fee will allow us to maintain our low pre-order prices and shipping rates a while longer. The surcharge will apply to the entire invoice amount. We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and Discover through our secure shopping cart with no added fee, as well as money orders.
Coupons: From time to time, we may offer special discounts in the form of coupons. To redeem a coupon, enter the coupon code on the order form. Discounts will be taken after the order is processed, and you will be notified by email of the corrected invoice amount. Coupon codes must be provided at the time of order. Coupons are not applicable to pre-orders, or to already discounted items. Only one coupon per customer per purchase.

UPS Ground is now our preferred shipper. This allows us to pass cost savings directly on to our customers. USPS Priority is now a premium service, as it is now considerably more expensive to use. If you have to use or prefer to use USPS Priority, we will charge you the full shipping cost, which is usually between $8.00 and $17.00. Our free shipping benefit applies to UPS Ground delivery to the continental US only. If you qualify for free shipping and want to use USPS, we will charge you the difference between the actual USPS Priority charge and what it would have cost to use UPS - usually $5-$10 depending on package weight. This will be charged when your order is processed, and no email notification will be sent.
Express shipping is available by request. For express shipping, no shipping charge will appear on your order confirmation. We will contact you after your order is placed with the exact express shipping charge. Vehicles or oversized items may be subject to additional shipping charges. These charges will be clearly posted in the item description.

Submitting consignment for sale:
Please contact Timewalker Toys if you wish to submit an item for consignment. We will discuss price and condition and demand. Pre-approval is required before we accept consignment. The consignment agreement must be signed by the consignor and included with the product on submission. Buying consignment:
Exact shipping will be charged on all consignment purchases. Our free shipping policy does not apply. Orders that combine consignment items with regular inventory will be charged a minimum $12.00 domestic shipping charge regardless of the content of the order. International shipments are subject to our international shipping policy. Insuring consignment purchases (at cost, billed after order is placed) is strongly recommended but not required.
After the shipment is received you will have seven (7) days to inspect the item, after which the sale is final. We can not consider exceptions to this policy, so please inspect your packages immediately upon receipt. Timewalker will visually inspect every item for sale and describe its condition in accordance with industry best practices. Returns will be accepted only after pre-approval by Timewalker and at the buyer’s expense.
Returns/ Defective Merchandise
All product is inspected prior to shipping. Boxes damaged or lost in transit must be reported to the shipping agency. Prior authorization is required for all returns. If you are not completely satisfied with your order, you can return your order within five days of receipt. Please include the item in its original packaging, with all order information, a copy of the receipt or invoice, and a note indicating why you are returning the product. Shipping is not refundable. Security/ Privacy
Our shopping cart is secured through Globecharge 128-bit SSL Encryption. Credit card information is processed through an independent merchant service. Your personal information will not be sold to a 3rd party.
From time to time we send out email notifications of new pre-orders, sale offers and show schedules. You can sign up for these newsletters on our homepage or when you check out. You can opt out of receiving these newsletters by un-checking the sign up box on the shopping cart. If you receive a newlsetter you don't want, use the secure unsubscribe at the bottom.
