Celebrate the 50th anniversary of NASA's first manned orbital flight with the Dragon Space 1/72 model of the Mercury Spacecraft "Friendship 7" craft.
Launched in February 1962 in an Atlas LV-3B launch vehicle from Cape Canaveral, the Friendship 7 circled the Earth three times in a four-hour flight with pilot John Glenn. This model is accurately constructed and painted, with appropriate markings.
