ENHANCED 1/6 Scale Metal WWII Deuce and a Half

The original TaoWan U.S Army 2.5-Ton 6X6 Cargo Truck 1/6 scale vehicle featured solid, metal construction but had several omissions and historical inaccuracies. Timewalker is committed to bringing you the best-quality 1/6 scale collectibles we can find, so we assisted 1/6 vehicle designer Boston C and C to fix some of the problems. This new, enhanced version is the result.

The new cargo truck features the same truck body, chassis and construction as before, but Boston C and C has added details and upgrades, including a new pintle hitch, a reworked cab and interior, a fuel tank (which was missing before) and much, much more. Original Item Description

The "Deuce and a Half" cargo truck was a fixture of the US Army throughout World War II. The TaoWan 1/6 scale version features all metal construction, a canvas cover that rolls back to reveal a wooden cargo bed, machine gun with ammo, and accessories. At three and a half feet long and nearly two feet high, the TaoWan 2.5-ton Cargo Truck is the perfect centerpiece to any World War Two US Army collection.

BOSTON C&C ENHANCEMENTS AND IMPROVEMENTS
Please note: the following items were not part of the original Taowan design.
1. Addition of functioning Pintle Trailer hook. (Trailer sold separately)

2. Addition of open cab OD "Canvas" canopy with machine gunner's hatch and tethering hook with tie-down rope.

3. Addition of removable OD "Canvas" Doors with correct WWII window configuration, handle flap, and working door latches.

4. Enhanced dash panel

5. New and improved cloth-covered cab seats

6. Upgrade to an ARMORPAX (tm) 50.Cal Machine Gun (pictures coming soon).

7. Engine access panels (with magnetic release) on both sides of engine compartment (Original design only provided right side panel. The other side was open.)

(Note: hood did not open in original design. This feature could not be changed in the enhanced version)

8. Addition of gas tank with a removable cap on the right side of truck (original design omitted the gas tank).
